"I have stayed at The Inn at the Tides many times over many years. It's always been a favorite; but, this time it was amazing! Our room (and possibly all rooms - I'm not sure) - had been completely remodeled and was beautiful and very comfortable. The grounds on the property look as if they have been professionally landscaped. Then - the extras--like the complimentary bottle of wine in the room, local newspaper in the morning. and the complimentary continental breakfast across the street at the Tides restaurant. However, the highlight for us was dinner at the restaurant that just reopened two months ago. We had originally planned to eat elsewhere for dinner; but, when we saw the menu at the new restaurant we decided to try it. We were so happy we did! The food, service, ambiance, wine list were outstanding, and we thought the prices were very reasonable. It was also great to be able to have dinner and both have wine and then just walk back to our room (no need for a Designated Driver!) I was told the restaurant was only open 3-4 days a week, (I believe it's Thursday-Sunday) but it is a great place to eat if you stay here. I'll be going again soon--my grandchildren mentioned it again and they love the indoor-outdoor pool! "
