“The staff was so Friendly!! Clean rooms and the amenities were top notch. I liked the room service paper they gave upon check in where you could request items you needed and if you wanted them to come in the room or leave on the door. The pool area was very nice. My only critic would be the adult pool was not heated like the kid pool. The beds, pillows and couch was very comfortable as well. Overall, excellent stay!”

“Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. ”

“This is a great location! Easy to get to downtown Galena in a few minutes. Country place without being too secluded. Very quiet neighbors. Residents were very cheerful and welcoming. Nice to have beautiful views and only a short drive to downtown Galena or Dubuque where there is more to do if you have kids staying or for a movie or dinner. Club where the pool is located is a very nice place. I would stay and this location again!”

“As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. “Fantastic! This is the cleanest villa I have stayed in over the years at Eagle Ridge. It is also very well thought out and cozy. Communicating with our host was great; he responded very quickly. Check in was easy. There is plenty of seating in the living room, and lots of extra blankets in the closet. There are so many games to play, and puzzles too.
