Private 3BR/2BA Territory Home Nestled in the Trees

Enjoy wooded views from all windows and the privacy needed for a great vacation. Our home features vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, screened in three-season room, as well as a deck. The main floor includes a master bedroom with full bath, kitchen and dining areas, and our comfortable living room. Upstairs are 2 more bedrooms and another full bath. Perfect for a quick getaway, a weekend of golf, or longer vacation to visit the beautiful Galena Territory

Furnished with everything you may need to dine in or out and with room to stretch. The property is on just over an acre with trees in every direction and right next to one of the many walking trails that go throughout the territory.

Home includes:
- 2 bedrooms with queen beds with fresh white linens and comfortable pillows
- 1 bedroom with 2 twins with fresh white linens and comfortable pillows
- 2 full bathrooms
- Kitchen is stocked with all the dishes, pots/pans, and silverware you need if you want to cook in
- 65 inch Roku TV in the main living room plus a 43 inch Roku TV in each separate bedroom
- Gas grill available on deck
- Screened in porch to enjoy the outdoors even if it’s raining
- Keurig with pods included
- Board games to enjoy with your group
- If there are young children in your group, 2 Pack & Plays and high chairs are available as well as a small selection of kids eating utensils to make packing a breeze

There will be six Owner's Club Key cards hanging in the kitchen. With this card you will have access to the pools, fitness center, as well as the game room at the Galena Territory Owner's Club located at 2000 Territory Dr. Galena, IL.

Or enjoy downtown Galena for the day with great restaurants and shopping only 7 miles away! For winter fun and skiing there is also Chestnut Mountain Resort a short 13 mile drive from the home.

We had a great stay here! This is a lovely house in a beautiful wooded area. It was very comfortable for our family of 4. Everyone had their own space and the living room/dining/kitchen area was also great. We enjoyed using the Owner's Club pool and facilities. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Galena!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was really nicely furnished with a lot of natural light; cozy and comfortable.Howard was excellent to work with; questions, etc. were answered about as quick as we could ask them! A short, but fun trip!

Great Girls Weekend Spot

Beautiful house with all the important amenities. It was clean and a great location. The fireplace was not available which was a little disappointing but still a wonderful stay and I would definitely return.

Fun Girls’ Weekend Location

The home was just what we were looking for. It’s well laid out for cooking together and hanging out for movie or game nights with friends. It’s clearly well-maintained and has everything you need for a long weekend with friends- including nice touches like coffee pods, plenty of towels, and good water pressure.

We had a wonderful time for 2 nights. Beautiful home and impeccably clean. The only suggestion that I am seeing at more VRBO’s is the need for many people these days that both Husband and wife needed night stands on both sides of the beds. But we were able to make do without a problem. Thanks for an enjoyable get away.

house needs to have some professional rodent removal. we could hear mice running in the ceiling at night. the amount of vegetation that has grown right up to the house probably doesn't help with that problem.

The Perfect Post Holiday Retreat

This house was perfect for our family - 5 adults. It was situated in the trees, so we had the feeling of being in the woods while just a short distance to everything. The house was exceptionally clean, and the layout was good for together time while allowing for retreat. As we like to cook together, it was wonderful to have a well stocked kitchen. We could play games on the table, watch movies and cook while still being able to talk to each other. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the bedrooms a good size. It is close to several of the walking trails in the Territories, and a short mile from the Country Store if we needed something. Howard was very responsive and answered several questions I had very quickly. This could definitely become part of our post holiday traditions! We loved it!

Nice little home in the woods

My girlfriends and I got together for a short getaway to celebrate a birthday in the group. This home was perfect for us! We loved that the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook with and basic items needed for cooking; oil, salt, pepper, Lawrie's seasoning, etc. I've stayed at many homes where this isn't the case. The house was in a very quiet neighborhood. We took a ride to see the Thunder Bay falls and you may want to pop over to the marina too. We enjoyed an evening on the screened in back porch drinking wine and chatting. There is another deck that isn't screened in but we didn't use that one. Lovely place that we would recommend to others.

Mostly Great Lodging

Upon arrival, we noticed black/brown items on the carpet and floors on the first level of the house. Looking more closely, we realized that they were roly polie bugs. Most were dead, but others were living. Luckily we found a vacuum cleaner and broom in the house. We spent the next 45 minutes cleaning up the bugs and doing so each morning and whenever we saw them. My friend wanted to use the jetted tub on the first floor, but decided against it because of the bugs. Quite unnerving thinking about the bugs all over the first floor of the home. Other than that, everything else was wonderful...well except the bed pillows are very hard. Wish I could add pictures here.

Galena Get away

This was one of the easiest bookings I’ve ever done with VRBO! I messaged Howard with several questions before & after booking and he always responded quickly and was very helpful and informative about things in the area and never made me feel like I was bothering him. The house was like the pictures and perfect for our 3 adults and 2 teenagers…..very clean and well supplied……we did fix breakfast one morning and the kitchen was well supplied…..we were 1 mile from the little store in the territory and a couple miles from the clubhouse which Howard had 6 passes provided with the rental…..the teens liked going there to swim and shoot baskets in the gym…… Check out was one of the easiest we’ve ever had! Basically we packed our stuff and locked the door on the way out!! Which was great!!! We really appreciated not having to strip beds etc….. and start laundry!!! We would definitely go back to this home and highly recommend Howard as being super easy to communicate with!!! Was a very relaxing 4 days!!! 5 star all the way!

We could not have asked for a better experience with your beautiful home. Everything we could possibly have needed was provided. The beds were extremely comfortable, and a tv in each bedroom was appreciated. Having Netflix was a great bonus! Loved the large, comfy sectional. The whole house was so clean, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the towels were nice and fluffy. We used the passes to the pool, and spent an afternoon cooling off in the beautiful pool. The screened porch was one of our favorite spots. Beautiful, spacious, comfortable - perfect for our visit to one of our favorite places, Galena. Thank you for sharing your home!
