Attended a family wedding in the area. Great location, quiet, great way to unwind between venues. The views are so beautiful and we were able to paddleboat with our grandson on the beautiful pond.

The Inn rooms, outdoor facilities, and grounds are very nice. Appreciate the dog friendly atmosphere and large area for walkies. Excellent spot for sunset views and night skies. Breakfast was a bit awkward but good enough to get you going for the day. DVD player (room 5) did not work.

If you are planning to visit Galena or anywhere in the surrounding area, I highly recommend the LeFevre Inn. The place is spotless and the rooms are very comfortable. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful. Appropriate for a wedding, family reunion, a visit to Galena or a weekend getaway for two, make sure you check out this place. Grills for barbecueing and an outdoor swimming pool are provided. We loved it will be going back!

Beautiful setting and views. Stayed in a standard king room. Spacious and the bathroom was well stocked with towels. Pillows were excellent but he mattress could use an upgrade. The room and building is nicely maintained but looks like it's due for a complete paint refresh inside and out. We didn't use the pool or anything on the grounds but it all looked wonderful. The location is well off the beaten path so there is absolutely no city noise at any time - very peaceful. The Chestnut Mountain Resort is only 15 minutes away. It's a great option for having a meal with an even better view.

Everything about our stay was incredible - cannot say enough great things about this accommodation and the hosts! We were greeted by friendly staff, met with great amenities for the price, and felt safe and taken care of during our stay. The view is spectacular, and the room was perfect for our one-night stay. Clean property, thoughtful additions (like wine glasses with a bottle opener, magazines, soaps, etc) and a light continental breakfast. I'd highly recommend this location for business trips, families, couples, singles, any kind of stay. Since we only stayed the one night, we didn't take advantage of some of the extra amenities like the fire pit, outdoor seating, small pond with paddle boat, or swimming pool - but it was clear that several others did and enjoyed themselves. Will come back here next time with our family and friends!
