“I was surprised to see that it was a shared kitchen with one other guest. The bed wasn't comfortable, old mattresses. The place was clean, not quiet due to children playing all day outside. The owner also texted me that I had to check in by 19:30 which made it very difficult, but he eventually agreed to meet me at 20:00. Also, the owner insisted on taking a picture of my passport. This I found to be odd and suspect. Be careful.”

“Nice apartment with everything you need and a convenient location — about a 20-minute walk to the Duomo/Catedral. The place is comfortable and well equipped. One problem: the AC didn’t cool and only produced heat — an issue I’ve often encountered in Europe. If cooling is important, double-check with the host beforehand”
