“The pool was not working when we got there, that was a huge disappointment since we chose between two hotels with pool. We had problems with Wi-Fi and had a flooding in our toilet. The front desk solved all issues for us but it was also inconvenient. It’s a good hotel but we had a bad day. ”

“Bed pillows and comforter definitely need replaced. Well used and worn!!! Mattress also lumpy in spots!”

“The property seemed rundown and not kept up. The hotel was noisy after hours with having unruly and disrespectful kids running up and down the hallways after hours screaming, slamming doors, being a retired citizen, that is unacceptable, but make# me wonder where the parents are at. Also we went down to breakfast, no place to sit down as there was no dining area, people were spewed out into the lobby, pretty sad as we couldn’t even get breakfast.”

“We enjoyed our stay although the weather did not allow us to fully enjoy all the property had to offer. The house is large enough for multiple families. The beds were very comfy. If you have any early risers in your group, they should be on the first floor as every step taken upstairs is heard thru the entire house and the stairs are very loud. The kitchen is well equipped as was everything in the house from extra blankets, towels and detergent for laundry.”

“This property is beautiful. We had opportunity to rest and relax as well as room to prepare our contributions to the larger family Thanksgiving. Saturday saw us entertaining cousins for homemade soup and games. Mike (property owner). Graciously accepted our invitation and fit right in with the group…..definitely looking forward to going back!”

“This property was clean, maintained and had everything we needed. The owner provided a lot of little nice touches, with premade bags for smores, snacks, packaged toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. The area is beautiful and has lots of deer to watch. My family had plenty of room to gather and visit as we all came in from separate states to celebrate my recently passed Mother's life. This was a great property to stay at while in Buckhannon. The next time we are back in Buckhannon we would happily stay……
