Black Bear Resort - Serene Cabin Retreat | Views, Deck & Resort Access
"The property was clean, cozy, well appointed with kitchen and laundary starter supplies, stove, microwave and dishwasher. The bathroom has a very pretty and efficient shower. Washer and dryer. With the windows opened the breeze was fantastic."
Dog Friendly Cabin in the Woods, Hot Tub & Firepit
"Beautiful cabin! The scenery was perfect and the cabin was exceptionally clean. Carol was kind and great with communicating. Will definitely be back!"
The Inn at Canaan
"X"
Luxurious, rustic, private vacation home with great view.
"Very clean. Everything you would need is provided and the host is very responsive."
Parsons Riverside Retreat: Steps away from a rolling mountain stream and trails
"Wonderful riverside cabin!! The cabin was clean, well equipped, and all that we needed for a nice last weekend before back to school! The front porch overlooking the river was wonderful and peaceful, we enjoyed breakfast on the porch each morning listening to the river and each evening to unwind after visiting the local parks."
Garagemahal! Trails and waterfalls right out the door, forested and quiet.
"The Garagemahal is wonderful! The location cannot be beat. Chip and Laurie were helpful and friendly hosts, fixing a small thing very quickly when we reached out. Even though their house is nearby, they provided plenty of space and privacy and made us feel very welcome to enjoy the home and property. The home was clean, comfortable, and spacious, equipped with useful essentials. The deck is huge - great for outdoor meals and relaxing with a view of the large yard and forest that leads to mountain and valley trails, or the dark sky (we saw 5 shooting stars on our last night!). There's a firepit and access to miles of trails, including one that starts at the edge of the yard and runs uphill along a creek with several very pretty small waterfalls within the first half mile or so. The location is amazing, right in Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge (the popular Freeland Boardwalk Trail is on the way - listen and look there for frogs, beavers, birds, and balsam fir trees), very close to Canaan Valley Resort State Park, and not too far to Dolly Sods Wilderness, Davis and Blackwater Falls State Park, and more. We couldn't imagine a better place to stay for our outdoorsy vacation week!"
