“it is a good economical choice for bikers passing through. It is not fancy, but it was clean, safe and quiet, my three top priorities. The price range of a hostel, but with the privacy that you would prefer. Staff was easy to get a hold of and they were friendly and kind. There was a nice restaurant right next-door and there’s a cool art gallery/coffeehouse in the area called Tissue Farm. ”

“We had the best time at this cabin at Alpina Lake Resort. My kids had a long weekend off so we decided to try a new getaway spot. The cabin was perfect for my family woth two kids 5 and 10 and my sister also stayed with us. The cabin was so nice to have two living areas and the deck plus plenty of bedrooms. “Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. “We did not use the hot tub, althought it looked inviting! We also did not use the kitchen on this trip. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. We would have liked to open a couple of windows but there were no screens. Overall, excellent stay!”

“The property was very nicely equipped for all of our needs. It was clean and comfortable. I have to say their mattresses are the best I’ve come across when traveling. Kara is great to work with and very prompt when responding to questions. We love the fact that they accommodate pets at their properties. This was not our first stay at the Casselman Loft and we look forward to trying out more of the Yough properties in the future. ”
