“The experience was terrible. The toiletries were of very poor quality, and the water was cut off before we checked out without prior notice, leaving us and our child without water to wash our faces and brush our teeth.”

“We really liked the Historical Inn. It was clean and basic. Dinner was excellent . Breakfast time was busy and while excellent choices, lots of coffee, they were busy and the sausage and eggs were cold when served. We knew there would be steps to our room and we managed but it would have been so much better if someone had offered to help with our luggage. All that said we enjoyed our stay.”

Negative: neighboring room was playing heavy metal way too loud and smoking pot smell until security came at 1:30 am to quiet them down. Fridge in room broken. Room was subpar appearance with cheap looking one word wall art not nice pictures. Property and beach around lake not cleaned up- tons of dog/duck poop everywhere you try and walk. Slot bonus and opportunity pail in comparison to every other casino we have been to. This……

“Someone had the ac set at 61* when we arrived. We had to turn the heat on and wrap up in blankets to get comfortable. It was a sensless waste of energy.”

“There are several long term renters. It’s a rough crowd. The lamp by the bed was busted. Water taps switched. Evidence of recent fumigation. It felt like someone had just moved out. I’m fine with less than standard accommodations but I felt like I was likely to be part of a crime scene. My wife warned me not to come home with bedbugs. So, as quickly as I unloaded the car, I packed it back up and hit the road. If you’re on the lam from the law, this might be a fine place to hide out. I just……

“The room key reader wasn’t working and we were locked out of the room for about half an hour late at night. Otherwise it was a nice and clean property and stay.”

The rooms are exceptionally full of character with a warm modernist design. The hotel has a restaurant/ bar and a continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again . Super comfortable, nice and cool air conditioned space , modern lobby and walking distance to everything .”
