"If you have need of a rentalIn the greencastle or surrounding area-I HIGHLY recommend these renters and this property! There is absolutely everything you need under the sun. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We didn’t get a chance to explore the property but it looked amazing and we will rent this in the future again when we visit this area."

"This is an old hotel but had clean bathroom and beds. The beds were comfortable. Air conditioner was noisy but it was so hot that we were grateful for it. The rooms are nice size. They plan to remodel so hopefully will improve. The tub and sink had no stoppers so you can see the hair clogged in the drains. The price is fair for what you get. They desperately need outside lighting. None in parking lot and none on front of building so very dark trying to find the walkway at night. We needed our phone flashlights."

"Good value for a quick overnight stay. Clean and well-maintained. I was not able to carry my bag up a flight of stairs to second floor room (no elevator) and asked to change room to first floor. I was told that was not possible because I had booked online (which made no sense). But the young man at the desk carried my bag upstairs so it worked out."

"Our stay at the Rustic Retreat was wonderful. Check in was super easy and the home was extremely clean and comfortable. The host is extremely quick to answer any questions. The house is equipped with everything you need. Several games are available in the yard as well as a firepit and hammock. The porch is extremely comfortable and provided great shade during the hot temperatures during our stay. A hot tub is on the back porch. The area is extremely peaceful. A State Park pass is available for use and came in very handy for our daily hikes at Turkey Run which is a very short drive right down the street. The Rustic Retreat will be our base for any future stays in the Turkey Run and surrounding area."

"Staff was great and big salute to the people keeping up with the absolutely awesome breakfast. With the busses and surge of people they worked hard to keep fresh and delicious food out there. The room my pregnant wife and I had and my sister's had were very nice and modern. Place was going through some renovations and is looking great! Very clean and kept up well, thanks for the comfortable stay!"

"Very peaceful stay and a beautiful spot to gey away. Bed was super comfortable and the area was quiet and people left us alone like we wanted. It was amazing to just walk out and fish off your own dock. I would ask that someone clean the propane grill, because the grease built up on the bottom caught fire when we used it and there is one towel in the bathroom (grey with white stripes) with a really icky stain on it when we arrived. Otherwise, quite perfect."
