“Beautiful fully equipped kitchen with two refrigerators. Bathrooms were very nice and spa like. Plenty of space for everyone. We were up for our daughter’s wedding and there was enough space to get ready and prep food. Parking was limited, owner has a cabin on property. She was accommodating as she was traveling during our stay.”

“I was surprised it was close to the road but Penobscot quiets down about 8pm so road noise was not an issue. It was a lovely house to stay in.Very comfortable. Easy to get from there to Castine, Blue Hill, Deer Isle. The walk down to the beach is lovely and the views across the Bay are always interesting as the tide comes in and out.”

“Bed was comfy, house was beautiful and the location was perfect for us! Half way between Bar Harbor and Northeast harbor made it auper rasy to get whatever or do whatever we wanted without the town crowds. And Kimberly was a great host, very responsive and welcoming!”

“This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. ”

“We stayed here for a family vacation to enjoy the fall colors and explore Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The location was perfect—an easy drive to both, which made getting around simple and stress-free.The home has a peaceful backyard set away from the road, which made it a nice spot to relax. You might hear some traffic at night if the windows are open, but it didn’t affect our overall comfort.Communication with the owners was excellent—very prompt and helpful. One of our favorite parts……

“The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia.”
