“Hotel was nice. The room we stayed was spacious and clean but need renovation. The breakfast was a bit too simple. Would be better if the staff could be more friendly.”

“The property was beautiful and staff were wonderful. I loved the easy proximity to the Stowe path and it’s on one of the most scenic river sections. The room was spacious and bed extremely comfortable. We stayed on the first floor and had access to outside which we loved as it accommodated our busy in and out schedule. The breakfast was fantastic and was a fabulous start to our day! I would have rated a 5 but there were two downfallls 1. The hot tub was milky so did not use but we honestly……

“Butler House speaks of itself: a house with the amazing management of a great butler - the result of the dedication of the owner, Paul and his wife. Paul was so friendly and though he was always busy at the breakfast room, he always checked if we needed help Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and offered everything we need.The kitchen is big and we enjoyed cooking there. I used their washing machine and dryer and detergent and softener were available. Highly recommended for couples……

“The staff and waitress were very knowledgeable. Grounds were exceptionally clean. Visited Heavens bench twice while we were there. The views were fantastic. Definitely recommend this place.”

“This Inn was very beautiful, but needed a lot of work and updating. The bed in our room was broken making a lot of noise., but the mattress was fairly comfortable. Overall it was an okay stay but not worth the money.”
