Perfect setting for a quiet break, with easy access to buses (and the cycle shop delivered to the hotel direct). We had a lovely weekend and will go back.”

“There was confusion with parking and manual one way signs put in on the road we needed to go down. Customers were not informed before arrival. Parking is at other pubs or hotels, which are a very short distance from the guest house. Staff were always friendly and polite. Breakfast was lovely. Choice of buffet and or cooked breakfast.”

“Air conditioning - there isn't any! My room was like a sauna and it made it very difficult to sleep. The staff tried to help with a mobile air con unit but to limited effect. Otherwise, the stay was lovely, staff superb, wonderful breakfast. Also, be aware that the "cheaper" rooms are a long way from the main hotel - bit cheeky really.”
