“The staff was exceptionally professional, helpful, and kind. Very nice facility with a lovely garden in the back and very comfortable common rooms. Excellent breakfast with lots of variety. We ate several evening meals here and they were as good as any restaurant in the area. The Chef works very hard to optimize flavor and presentation. “We had a few days here whilst we explored Guernsey. Ours was an upper garden room so we were at the top of the site with a bit of a slope down to the main hotel for breakfast. This wasn't a problem as we did get a message beforehand to warn us and give us the opportunity to change our booking if needed. The other downside to our room was that it faced onto the main road that runs past the hotel. Traffic noise was quite noticeable during the day but thankfully reasonably quiet at night. ……
