From the first minute we got there the staff did anything to make our stay enjoyable ,we celebrated our anniversary and they made it very special for us ,a big thankyou ,the breakfast and the evening meals were exceptional we will definitely be going back there again

The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. A couple of things in the room needed attention but nothing major. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere although the bus stop is just outside if you don't want to drive.

Lovely soft bedding, fabulous shower, huge fluffy towels all within a small, peaceful hotel. Great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely be back. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

A one night stay prior to flight - excellent airport location. Sizeable heated o/d pool with adult only sessions. Good sized room with large bathroom including large walk in shower. An early start necessitated a continental room breakfast - a sizeable feast, better than many in house breakfasts!

The Farmhouse appeared to be run as a family concern and each family member did their job brilliantly. Such lovely people, always smiling and always wanting to be helpful. The attention to detail was extraordinary from the flowers that were fresh on the dining tables and that blossomed throughout our stay to the folding of my wife’s night shirt and placement on the pillow. We absolutely loved the place. Normally you notice a few knocks and bangs even in the most expensive hotels, not so in the Farmhouse, it was impeccably looked after in every detail. And then we get to the food. Oh my goodness, how we came away not weighing a couple of stone more is an absolute miracle, breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had anywhere bar none! Dinner was amazing, especially the beef short ribs which I had twice just to see if it was always that good…….it was! If I’d been at home I’d have licked the plate! Ok, so the pool was empty, but that really didn’t matter, it’s autumn and we wouldn’t have used it anyway. Plus there are plenty of pools available for free in St Peter Port! Highly recommend this place, it was a fantastic stay.

This hotel is better than the pictures suggest, we stayed 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, our bedroom was massive and air-conditioned. The Swimming pool was heated to about 30° and beautiful to swim in. The food, fantastic and the breakfast perfect. Absolutely loved everything about it. If I was to be very picky it would be to say you could hear the background music playing in the bar below but was only quiet. Not an issue for me but my partner is a light sleeper. We will definitely be back. Absolute hidden gem.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse and would definitely go back again and recommend it to others. The room was nicely appointed, clean and quiet. The restaurant, bars and garden areas were all really nice too. The hotel staff were all very polite, attentive and helpful

On arrival we were told the pool wasn’t open yet, which was a shame. Check in was good and quick. On entering our room it looked amazing very spacious & bathroom was large and looked amazing. Bed was comfortable and had a good nights sleep. Staff were attentive. On using the shower the following morning it looked amazing but the rain shower part of it didn’t work which only left a pull out shower which wasn’t very tall and not a lot of pressure. Also the bathroom had a lot of lights but only one switch so when it was on it was very bright.

Beautiful hotel. Facilities were great we loved the pool especially my 12year old boy. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It is quite expensive fir food and drink hut the quality was there. Breakfast was unbelievably good. We would all definitely come back

The Hotel was simply amazing. This is a very genuine review. My friend and I stepped into the hotel and realised how lucky we were to find this place. Staff simply so helpful also the maintenance men who helped me when i needed help. Our room was so large and so well decorated. bathroom was also so big with a really nice big bath, with a really nice shower. Every where was so clean. Food was very good. the pool is heated and a nice size. i will give this hotel 100% for everything. Oh, also, so quiet at night and it was so easy to get sleep.

Rustic charm with luxury in abundance

From the moment we arrived we knew we’d chosen well. We received a very friendly welcome from the receptionist & were delighted to have been upgraded from a superior room to a suite. The room had a beautiful spacious bathroom with fluffy bath robes & organic toiletries. The hotel is tastefully decorated, with a rustic charm as the name ‘The Farmhouse’ would hint at but with luxurious touches. We also ate in the restaurant 3 evenings & had room service one evening too. The food was delicious & the service very attentive. Breakfast was excellent, lots of cooked options & very generous portion sizes. We couldn’t find fault with any element of our stay here. We chose this hotel as we wanted somewhere small but with an element of luxury. We absolutely loved every minute.
