“Our room was up in the attic & extremely small with a tiny window. I complained & was given a slightly larger room with a bigger window. The bed was small which my partner & I found quite uncomfortable.”

“Staff helpful and welcoming. Breakfast good. Bedrooms very clean with ok facilities, but dark. Housekeeping excellent,friendly and discreet. Negatives....very busy road from early morning to evening. Due to ongoing refurbishment terrace pebbled and uneasy to walk upon. Bar area has no windows or atmosphere so uninviting, dark and gloomy. Worse things 1., nowhere to sit outside if not dining (sat at rear in staff area just to sit and relax) ..2.expensive restaurant which charged tips for……

“The room and en-suite were lovely - beautifully appointed and very quiet. Just what we needed. The staff went out of their way to help. There are three car parks and we had no trouble parking. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of food for every taste. There are three restaurants, The Ocean, The Steak House and Buho (serving Mexican food). Sadly, The Ocean was only open one night during our four night stay as the fish dishes there were excellent. Seemed such a shame as Guernsey is……

“This hotel is a good quality place to stay. Staff are extremely attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was wide ranging, although they only display a limited range of milk. Bedroom was ok, nicely decorated but felt a bit old fashioned. The bed was not the most comfortable. There were limited plug sockets and no USB charging ports.”

“Easy to get around. Lots of parking. Staff friendly. Building dated but clean and had an issue with knocking pipes when anyone flushed to loo!”

“A one night stay prior to flight - excellent airport location. Sizeable heated o/d pool with adult only sessions. Good sized room with large bathroom including large walk in shower. An early start necessitated a continental room breakfast - a sizeable feast, better than many in house breakfasts!”

“I have been to grange lodge hotel for at least 5 years. The management & staff are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are of a good size and rooms cleaned daily which is fab. The location of the hotel is excellent as its a 10 min walk to st peterport. The food is very good & a decent price too. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island.”

“Big spacious hotel with good amenities, great breakfast choices and friendly staff. Loved the free use of the spa facilities during our stay. The room furniture is dated and with no room aircon so it can get hot at night but that’s the only criticism.”
