“We really enjoyed our stay here in Hilo. The house offered a great spot to wind down at after a long day out and about. We used most of the beach stuff on our various trips to go swimming! The host provided great information about places to eat and see and recreate and the house is walking distance from a few things if you need a break from driving! ”

Extremely clean and neat located and walkable to downtown and only a few minutes from the airport and major roads for activities. Very well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Our host, Simone, was lovely and left a welcome note, coffee and cookies along with other thoughtful touches throughout.It was the perfect place for our family and we enjoyed our stay very much.”

“Spacious and inviting place! Decorated like a real person lives there, so we felt more like welcomed house guests in contrast to staying at a sterile hotel. Kitchen had all the tools we needed. AC worked when needed, water hot, plenty of towels and linens. Great neighborhood location very close to excellent reataurants Temple Bar and Jackie Rey's. ”

“We visited Hawaii for the first time this summer for my parent's 60th Anniversary. There were 11 of us in total at the house and we could not have made a better choice. There was plenty of space for everyone ( ok sometimes the teenage girls spent too much time in the bathrooms) and the surroundings were perfect. We loved meals on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Air hockey was fun to play. The amazing soothing sounds of the coqui frogs at night led to peaceful sleep,(earplugs were available if……

“On a whim we decided to fly to the Big Island and avoid the crowds and get a little hometown feel in Hilo. We missed the volcano eruption by just two days but that was the only disappointment for the trip. Our accommodations were perfect - exactly as described and photo’d. The welcome treat and coffee was a very nice touch. This was a perfect location to spend a day at Hawaii Volcano Ntl Park and another day driving around the island.
