"Junk-yard-village!!!! Would give it a zero if possible but it derserves a one star at least for the good natured staff - no encounter with owner but they should be forbidden from ever owning land anywhere on this planet."

"Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). "My husband decided to take me to Hawaii this year for my birthday & I must say the home & island he picked out was perfect. The home was in a great quiet & beautiful neighborhood.
