“The lodge was superb, it was clean and cosy. The owners were great and provided extra logs for the fire when we ran out from the cold and wet February weather. The fire kept us lovely and cosy all week. Everything worked well and were very flexible for a later than planned arrival and the directions were helpful to come off at a later junction due to the narrower roads. All in all a fantastic lodge and will be booking again with friends.”

“Room was clean and very comfortable. Could have done with a bath rather than a shower. Food was very good and very reasonably priced. Pub had a good atmosphere but we weren’t told the procedure of ordering food and were left for a while before we decided to actually ask how their system worked. ”

“It's a very friendly hotel. The room was clean & cozy. The restaurant also very good and I didn't need to find a place to eat. Excellent for a night or two and explore the nearby area.”
