No need for a car—we were walking distance from downtown Raleigh, and a quick scooter/bike ride from the bus station to get to Durham. Strolling the historic Oakwood neighborhood in the morning was lovely. Definitely check out the brunch at Longleaf Swine right on the corner—it blew us away. We couldn’t wait to get back to The Acorn at the end of a long day. And as coffee people, we especially appreciated the……

“The proper was nice but was a bit hard to find at first. A lot of the furniture was wobbly and caused us to spill things when we put them on the tables. Relatedly, we did not have many paper towels or paper products during our stay to clean up. ”
