"The rook was very clean when we arrived and we were so grateful for the ac being on when we came! The only wish was that they had a microwave in the room (it is available to used when asked tho, we’re just lazy haha) and the water to be hotter. The staff was very accommodating and perfect stay for visiting Julian."

"Need to pay $10 for parking on site or park for free on the street. Street parking is very close and easy if it is not the weekend or peak season (Sept and October) according to staff so we parked on the street. Basic amenities: coffee inside room with more selections in the main lounge where they also have hot water and a microwave, no fridge to store leftovers so don’t buy too much food. Location was great for walking throughout Julian and an easy drive (~12 minutes) to Lake Cuyamaca (have to pay $10 to park here)."

"We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. The cabin is cozy, clean, has great location and our gracious hosts truly thought of everything ! A rustic cabin with modern comforts. The large backyard is securely fenced - perfect for your pet to roam and play in. We stayed in the summer and the inside stayed nice and cool with A/C and fans. We loved cooking in the large well-equipped kitchen and taking a stroll through the neighborhood each evening after enjoying a glass of wine on the spacious patio... we cannot wait to visit again !"

"Awesome place to enjoy nature and check out the area of Julian. Loved the amenities including the porch bed swing and multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy. Kitchen has tons of appliances and utensils for cooking and baking. Only issues we encountered was the jet tub off the main bedroom was out of service, the downstairs room off the kitchen was sweltering hot, and turning on the AC for the main area wasn't straight forward, as the remote downstairs said it was on, but we had to manually turn it on by going upstairs and investigating. Still highly recommend visiting though!"

"We had a wonderful stay! the property was perfect for our large family in town to attend a wedding. The house was very clean with every kitchen item we needed. The multiple levels made it great for a little separation time/quiet time for the small ones. Sandy was quick to respond when I had questions beforehand and using her directions to the property got us right there. Thank you for a lovely stay!"
