“I booked two separate rooms for this trip. When one of the rooms I booked did not have separate beds for my daughter and grandmother the hotel made arrangements with a sister property down the street, saved the Stay!”
“This townhouse hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel but frankly it should be rated as a 2 star hotel. There is no one to help with luggage. There is no real reception you have to go up a floor to a small office to check in. There is no staff to assist you in the morning until 11 am and no one after 6:00.pm. They give you one key and you have to open the main door of the hotel yourself outside the hours of operation.
As for the accommodations where do I even begin.
We were 2 couples checking in. ……
“We arrived very late into Kinsale after official check in hours (and apparently there is no personal guest check in anyway), and were given instructions on how to check in and where to park and the staff were very responsive via the Expedia app.
However, the hotel is not well marked at all - there’s a tiny sign outside the property which looks more like an office building (white smooth exterior, modern looking windows) and it’s on a busy road with no place to pull up or double park to unload……
“This is a historic building in the centre of Kinsale. We were very pleased with the extremely large room on the ground floor. Breakfast was also very good. Peter, the host and owner, was very accommodating and helpful. He shared some interesting family history with us including about the establishment.
Restaurants, pubs and stores are literally just down the street. Parking can be scarce when the tour buses are in town but you will find something (the lot across the street is free from 6pm……
“We spent only one night in Kinsale hotel and spa. The room was specious and the views were spectacular. We stayed in the harbor view room. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to visit the spa but it looked amazing. Breakfast was great with so many options in it. The staff was who made this one night stay so good, friendly, helpful and cheerful. I couldn’t fault them. The only negative for this hotel that you need a car to go to the city. It is close but you can’t walk it because it is a bit……
“The Blarney Woolen Mills hotel was absolutely beautiful! Shopping and dining are available on the property. The woolen mills is actually on the property as well. They ship your purchases home to the USA, if over a certain amount! So we didn't have to worry about having room for that kind of stuff in our suitcases. It is in very close proximity to Blarney Castle and walking distance to other shopping and restaurants. It was quiet and we felt safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The……
“Super hôtel situé à 30min de bus du centre-ville de Cork (arrêt de bus à 5min de marche). Hôtel très propre, petit-déjeuner en buffet très complet. Chambres spacieuses, grand parking.”
