The hotel was very understaffed. We waited in line for 25-30 min to check in because there was only one representative at the front desk. She was great but alone. We had dinner in the restaurant but there were only two servers. The manager was great at helping but the restaurant was full. Our “upgraded” room had a broken lock, badly stained floors, something that looked like blood on the shower curtain and an overwhelming smell of chlorine from the pool.

This location is far from Cork city. Nothing really close by that is walking distance. Cab fare is expensive.

A lot done, more to do :)

Thank you so much, we had a lovely stay. However, the rooms were quite warm and therefore uncountable to sleep in. The decoration in the main rooms were very tired but we felt the ensuite bathrooms in both bathrooms were jaded, they needed renovation. They smelled quite strongly not because of the cleaning but the lack of repair in the tiles/shower area. Otherwise, the staff were so friendly especially in the pool area. Thank you.

Great hotel near Cork center but out of the fray

New or renovated, clean hotel with polite staff and nice amenities such as a lovely indoor pool. I would definitely stay there again if I get to Cork.

Very basic rooms. No amenities except the bare minimum soap and shampoo. In bulk. Not even a pen or an alarm clock. Very difficult to find at night. On the plus side, very nice breakfast buffet and lobby.
