“Great location in city centre with lots of shopping, eating and bus connections close. Minimalist style rooms. The breakfast was good with lots of choice options. I room lighting was poor. Impossible to go makeup in the bathroom and no good lighting in the bedroom to do it either! Housekeeping sometimes missed brining clean towels, emptying the waste baskets and switching out our dirty mugs! Otherwise a good place to stay.”

“This townhouse hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel but frankly it should be rated as a 2 star hotel. There is no one to help with luggage. There is no real reception you have to go up a floor to a small office to check in. There is no staff to assist you in the morning until 11 am and no one after 6:00.pm. They give you one key and you have to open the main door of the hotel yourself outside the hours of operation. As for the accommodations where do I even begin. We were 2 couples checking in. ……

“We spent two nights in Kinsale at Long Quay House and we highly recommend the place. The location is awesome, the room was clean with a great shower, and the property is in very good condition. The owner and staff were very helpful. Breakfasts are cooked to order. We had eggs and salmon, eggs with bacon, and porridge with fruit.
