“Cute little cottage - easy to get to and very well maintained. It was clean and comfortable and you can tell the host put a lot of heart into the spaces. Loved the fireplace and the hot tub! ”

It is important to note that it is duplex style, which I did not at first realize until looking at the pictures more closely. However, we made it work and had a wonderful time. “The cabin was cozy, warm and welcoming! We rented both sides for an extended family stay which worked out well, having two kitchens and slightly separated sleeping spaces. But for those renting one side, it would work out just as well. The family room is located on the lowest level of each cabin but works out just as well. “We had a great stay! I cannot stress enough how close and convenient this location is to the Grassy Gap parking area for hiking Doughton Park. That’s what drew me in to book this stay. We didn’t spend much time on premises, so we didn’t utilize the many amenities…hot tub, fire pits, picnic pavilion, etc…but the stay was comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and communication was great.”
