Weekend getaways in West Jefferson

My wife and I were just looking to get away somewhere new. West Jefferson is a nice drive from Charlotte and the town is very welcoming with great restaurants. We spent time downtown W. Jefferson shopping/eating, then traveled to adjacent towns for a litte more sites. If you're traveling to West Jefferson, I definitely recommend staying at Buffalo Tavern. (And each room has a bathroom. Though it's not seen in the pictures.) We'll be back - planning to add W. Jefferson and Buffalo Tavern...

Beautiful setting! Unique property Rustic yet sophisticated. Food is outstanding Music on the porch on Sundays is wonderful

If you are looking for a place to completely unplug and relax here's the place. The cabin I stayed in had no tv or radio, and that was exactly what I wanted and needed.

Everything from the staff to the rooms/pool/breakfast were excellent

Loved everything about Rhode's Motor Lodge! Exceptionally clean, with parking at your door, restaurant onsite, friendly staff and comfortable beds. They did a great job incorporating the best of what use to be, with the comforts and amenities of today. 1000% recommend staying here!

Brand new hotel. Excellent customer service. Very comfortable beds. Marriott employee, Emily Cook, went above and beyond for us. We will definitely stay here again and have already recommended the hotel to our family and friends.

Convenient location to downtown Boone. Close to App St University too! Spectacular room. Clean and updated. Unfortunately it rained that weekend and we didn't get to enjoy the rooftop lounge. The breakfast was delicious. Make sure you try a pastry from Stick Boys.

Sleep Inn is one of the most clean hotels I have stayed lately. Bed are so comfortables, CLEAN and overall it has a pleasant environment. I rested and slept wonderfully. Breakfast times was perfect as well. I would stay again and will recommend to friends. Thank you!

Our room was very big — much bigger than the other hotels I’ve stayed. We had some special because of our dogs, and the housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful, as were the front desk and breakfast staff. Really positive experience.

Lobby was absolutely beautiful ,staff was super friendly. The room could of been cleaned better as far as vacuuming goes. There was multiple fingernails next to the beds and just not cleaned well. Stains on the bed skirts that would come out with a wash. Diner next to the establishment was really good food!Breakfast at the hotel was all over the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. So many options! The best was the make your own waffles! I would definitely stay here again.

3rd time there at this hotel. Each time the breakfast was good with a noted variety of choices. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only complaint I have is I wish I could have stayed longer.

Everything was nice

My husband and I really enjoyed. It almost pictures a bed in breakfast. Very Very clean! The room was nice and we loved the breakfast delivered to our door. They also gave us complimentary wine glasses to take home. We loved it. Could in the future invest in a microwave in the room.
