“Everything was great: comfortable room, tasty continental breakfast. Traveler cell service and wifi limited in the area, so make certain to confirm everything before you head out!”

“Didn’t like being allocated a room for the disabled with an adjoining door, on the ground floor. Not what we paid for. Were then offered an attic room with a skylight type window, you couldn’t see out and it was dark. They then managed to jiggle things around and we had a decent room, the sort we expected. Didn’t use most of the facilities as we were there for a wedding near by but we did eat in the bar area. Food menu was limited and so were the cocktail choices. Don’t know about the restaurant……

“Location was convenient for us but the room was noisy with music playing until after 11pm on both nights. Strange smell in the room and no reading lights or fridge.”

“房間整潔，床亦夠大，寵物友善。”

“Great shirt stay, the beds were really comfy and the room was spacious with everything we needed. Staff were lovely.”

“The parking was good, always available . The room was pleasant. The food was good. The problems were - the position on a hectic main road, I didn’t see it mentioned on there review. The heat, though the weather was not hot you could barely open the windows and then had to shut them because of the noise of the traffic and then there was black mold on the bottom of the shower. The staff were pleasant though breakfast was not explained very well!”

“For an expensive hotel, the bathroom was very dated, tired and in desperate need of updating. The enamel on the bath was gone meaning it was stained pretty bad, the grout around the outdated tiles had been painted white. The bedroom had been painted poorly and was very plain and in need of updating, as are the furniture. The room would have been ok if the price had been around £50 p/n. The main communal areas were very nice, the corridors had radiators hanging off the wall with brown stains on……

“very poor experience, wanted to refuse check in and check out during midnight”

“只是床褥太軟，其他如花灑、熱水煲、燙抖等設備很好”

“5 star downstairs and outside. Grounds are superb. Room was ok... Bed was big, as was TV, but there were things that let it down. Cheap furniture, a wobbly toilet, an unsuitably small shelf in shower, cheap tea and coffee. Also only one bath towel between two, and one hand towel - no bath mat. For an expensive room (even for a Sunday) it was quite basic in lots of ways, and disappoining when compared to the plush bar and seating areas downstairs. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent.……

“Really lovely stay for 3 nights. Gorgeous room and bathroom, great friendly staff and good food. Very good value. Train station right across the road. Would definitely stay again.”

“The staff were very helpful and relaxed in their approach. Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of tea and a local coffee. The bedroom was clean but obviously being upgraded.”
