Giant flower vases made entirely out of rebar Entrance steps to this wonderful museum. Definitely a must see when you're in LA. The Impressionist gallery is impressive, and the outdoor gardens are lovely. That's all we managed on our first visit. I love famers markets and Brentwood Village Farmers Market did not disappoint. Everything from fruits & veggies to hummus to pasteries, with samples for everything. So good.

The entrees are always perfectly cooked (the Jidori Chicken is the best chicken I've ever had) and the sides are simply incredible. Our picks this week: Liberty Farms Duck, Gnocchi, Green Garlic Risotto, and Lemon Cake Doughnuts. Expect to spend $125/pp. $8 valet parking. The Getty Also known as the Witch's House, I lived in Beverly Hills for a year before I came across this gem. It's a private residence but worth a drive by if you're in the area Eataly just opened up at the Century City Mall in Los Angeles! Packed with gourmet food stalls, ranging from breakfast to dessert. Purchase a glass of wine to drink while walk around the entire store! Lines are long at lunch but worth the wait! #pizza The pathway leading to the main building entrance. The museum boasts a great collection of artifacts and art collections from around the world. Make sure you spend time in the gardens too - they make for a lovely break from all the paintings and sculptures. Chocolate Soufflé and Mint Chip Ice Cream (which really tasted more like basil). Very tasty, but the winning dessert was the Lemon Cake Doughnuts (they were gone before I could snag a photo)! Signs. The north anchor of the Getty: a helipad with the San Deigo Fwy to the east & the tram in the background. The south anchor of the Getty: a cactus garden overlooking views of the city. The pool and entrance to the world famous grotto at the Playboy Mansion. Whether you prefer sweet or savory, Bru's Wiffle will have a waffle for you!
Try the Waco, a delicious waffle/taco combination with crispy chicken. Yum! They also serve beer and wine. The Getty Centre is a must if you are down LA way. Prepare to spend the whole day wandering around as it quite the hike to get out there. Love some good lunchin' spots! Check out this house-turned cafe in the middle of Beverly Hills! These cool guys are part of Hef's private zoo. The cage is about 40 feet wide and 30 feet high with trees and there were approx 20 of them. Known as a celebrity haunt, The Beverly Hills Hotel is set in tropical gardens and has a poolside cafe. The Getty Center, in Los Angeles, California, is a campus of the Getty Museum and other programs of the Getty Trust. Shoe shopping at it's finest! Although I did not purchase anything here, I felt that the store itself was Troveworthy. A monument to decades of fashion, and an iconic store on Rodeo Dr. Standing out front of the Playboy mansion. The Santa Monica Museum of Art (SMMoA) is a part of the Bergamot Station Arts Center. The small museum moved to the Bergamot Station in 1998 and features local, national and international artists and exhibitions. The SMMoA is the only kunsthalle, a non-collecting museum, in Southern California and admission is a suggested donation of $5. A chic place in Beverly Hills. Loads of upscale shopping places! California streets lined with palm trees. I simply can't get enough of them. Greatest way to spend a few hours in L.A. A fairly new recreation with the original dating to the early 1900s, this Beverly Hills sign and lily pond is a popular photo spot. It's within walking distance of Rodeo Drive and I think less ubiquitous than the shield. The garden is also pleasant to walk through. Adorable Beverly Hills trolley! LA's one of their famous museum. This place houses paintings of Rembrant to contemporary artist like Robert Mapplethorpe's. Also, I like their garden patio just nice to unwind here. Outside Tiffany's!!
