“Hey everyone, we had a fantastic time in Salvo. I’m not here to compare real estate, but the house, although a bit dated and in need of a few minor fixes, was overall fantastic. The kitchen was well-equipped, the rooms were clean, and the hot tub was great. It was conveniently located between a couple of beach access points, making it an excellent value for the price. No complaints at all. I highly recommend checking this place out.Additionally, I spoke with the caretaker about the older reviews...

“Beautiful home with a great layout, spacious bedrooms, and a immaculately decorated! We found ourselves in a travel pinch last week and at the very last minute needed a place to stay for one night. Natalie was very responsive, communicative, and able to get us in to her lovely home the next day. The house is well appointed and they thought of many little details like laundry pods (convenient!) and nice smelling hand soap. Small things that make the home feel luxurious. My kids' only complaint...

“As soon as we walked in, it felt very cozy! We enjoyed playing the games, drinking a cup of coffee on the porch in the morning, and watching the sunset at the beach right down the street. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was close to local restaurants and the lighthouses. We really enjoyed our stay! ”

“Beautifully furnished immaculate home with easy beach access. Centrally located near stores and restaurants. Loved the decks and deck furniture - fun evening on the deck feeling like we were “ in the trees.” A lot of love went into this place. Lots of nice “extras”: a keurig with coffee pods, tea bags and tea kettle, books and games , beach towels to name a few. Although there is no beach view, you still feel like you are on the beach. Highly recommended!”

“The house was exactly as it was shown, the owners very helpful and responsive. The location was perfect, close to so many fun things to see and do. The closeness to the beach and use of the beach chairs wagon and toys was so appreciated. ”

“The property is in a great location close to the beach, stores, restaurants, etc., 2 minutes walk to the beach on the ocean side, 20 min drive to the soundside beach. 40 min drive to the nature preserve with the wild horses. Very clean. The house itself needs a little TLC, but this did not affect our stay at all. ”

“If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Charming and very clean. We liked the old obx atmosphere - with a nice update. Great location with ocean views. The pool was refreshing with ample chairs. There’s a crow’s nest with pergola. Screened in porch on cottage 11 was spacious enough to have dinner outside and still have room to hang towels. The property was well kept. There is private path to the beach is directly across the road. Amanda was friendly and easy to communicate with. We talked...
