“This is a gem of a quiet, accommodation spot with a nice sandy beach, small pool, a good restaurant and nice swimming in the ocean out front. The accommodation huts are perfect, the beds are decent and we felt as if we had our own private resort for some enjoyed R&R. It’s a short drive away from Placencia but well worth it for this experience. Kids loved the pool, paddle boards, hammocks and large beach area. I definitely recommend this place!! ”

“We had an amazing stay a Kalimera Hotel in Placencia honestly one of the best hotels we’ve experienced, and we travel quite a bit. The hotel is small and boutique-style, which makes a huge difference. Because there are only a limited number of rooms, the staff can really focus on every guest and keep everything in perfect condition. “This is a very nice small boutique hotel near the beach. The only compliant I had was about communication with their staff. I had spoken twice with their staff to request help with scheduling a taxi to the airport and was told it was confirmed. However on the day of my departure there was none scheduled. The staff on duty didn't know anything about it. I had to wait for a taxi to be called and this could have caused me to miss my flight. ”

“It is an older hotel, so that was a bit of a shocker for us at first. But the location was great and after the receptionist changed our rooms we were quite happy, we got a bigger room with a smaller shower, (not to small) and shady outside sitting area, we were quite happy. The room and bathroom were clean, and because we only stayed 2 days we did not need the room-service. They did bring beach towels and emptied garbage. The breakfast was good and plenty, People lovely, and a superb location. ”
