“This property is beautiful and the staff was excellent with communication and assistance. The morning breakfast was delicious. We weren’t able to enjoy the beach due to the sargassum but it was fine we were able to enjoy the pool. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Definitely a great stay for relaxing. ”

“Maya is a great place to stay and their restaurant is the best! Try the peanut brittle pie (homemade from scratch) when you go there as I've never had a better dessert. The pie is a legend in Belize as well as all their other fabulous food and bakery goods. A true Belize getaway, simple and fun. Clean as well!”

“Would stay again, and 100% recommend. Fantastic location, makes everything in Placencia very walkable. Property was clean, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The chalk board welcome with our names was a nice touch. Toucan Jacks, while not a part of the property itself, is an outstanding adjacent business that makes time spent at the property very pleasant. The only complaint is that, at least during our stay, power outages were frequent and daily. They were, however, doing quite a bit……

“The Inn is out of the way and very clean. I would have enjoyed my stay more if I was told they were building a pool deck every morning promptly at 730am. I was NOT informed at check in. Via email or from the property owners. The saws and hammering started before quite hours of 8am were over. I realize this is temporary, however not belong informed this would be happening was EXTREMELY frustrating. We were unable to sleep in any day, which was extremely frustrating for the teenager with……
