“Staying in Monsaraz was magical, and this property added to that feeling. Very spacious and clean. Jose was a great host and a fantastic communicator (in English). One tip for those staying in off/shoulder season (we were here in March) - there are very few/no food options open in Monsaraz on Mondays. This goes for the town outside the walls and at the base of the hill.”

Muchos pequeños detalles que gustan: bolsitas de agua caliente, botiquín, botella de vino de obsequio, a la cocina no le falta un detalle, colchones estupendos. La única pega es el baño, el suelo de laducha resbala, la taza del váter de mueve y la mampara también se sale. Pero tiene hasta calentador de toallas!”

“This was a unique experience for us -- staying on a cork farm. The setting was stunning - the views amazing and you will truly get an authentic Alentejo experience. Note that is it not close to Evora, so keep that in mind. That said, I don't know that we've ever met a kinder and more welcoming host. Not only did his welcome us to the property, but he gave us a tour of his cork farm and explained the harvesting process -- it was such a personal touch and so fascinating. We just loved it. The……

“Cesar, our host, was really nice and helpful and we could reach out to him whenever we had a question. All the workers on site where really nice and friendly. The farm is setup within beautiful surroundings and there where lots of farm animals to look at. We are definitely planning on coming back again in fall! ”

“Nice, clean, one bedroom 2nd floor walk-up apartment, with comfortable guest sofa. Balcony front and back for morning and afternoon sun. TV and wifi. All cooking amenities in kitchenette area, and a large bathroom with modern fittings. 10 minute walk to main square and Friday/Saturday market. Lidl and Intercontinental supermercados at about 1km.
