“A great place to unwind after hectic days of sightseeing with superb views and surrounded by nature. A walk down the lake followed by an excellent dinner in the restaurant was just the ticket. “Staying in Monsaraz was magical, and this property added to that feeling. Very spacious and clean. Jose was a great host and a fantastic communicator (in English). One tip for those staying in off/shoulder season (we were here in March) - there are very few/no food options open in Monsaraz on Mondays. This goes for the town outside the walls and at the base of the hill.”
