"The front desk staff was exceptional in helping us. My husbands bag did not arrive and they answered any questions we had. Louisa was especially good to us. The rooms are somewhat dated. But the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Easy walking to everything even though not right downtown. Transportation for tours was very easy. It’s nice to have the bar and lounge and they do have happy hour 3-6. Overall our stay was very good and I would stay here again. The bakery on site is wonderful. We did have the breakfast buffet one day and it was ok. Dinner and our bar food were good. "

"Everything was perfect! The hotel is ideally located—close to the main shopping streets, very walkable, and yet pleasantly quiet. It’s probably the tallest building in Reykjavík aside from Hallgrímskirkja, and from our room, we had stunning views of the city’s main attractions, including Hallgrímskirkja and Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre. During our stay, there was a cultural event in the city, and we were lucky enough to watch the fireworks right from our room. The breakfast was excellent every morning—fresh, varied, and delicious. What made our stay even more special was how the hotel celebrated my daughter’s birthday. They surprised her with a sweet plate and a heartfelt card, which truly made her day. Thank you so much for the thoughtful gesture and for making our stay unforgettable!"
