The apartments are across the road from the hotel. You check in at the hotel. Location is great. Central to everything & only a few minutes walk to shops, supermarkets, restaurants & attractions.
The apartment was very clean. You get hand soap & body wash in the bathroom. Washing up liquid, sponge & tea towel for the kitchen. Salt, pepper, tea, coffee & sugar provided.
We ate in the apartment a couple of times & found everything we needed, although no microwave. The bedding was good quality & we found the bed very comfortable. The TV doesn’t show any channels & you have to log into a Netflix or Amazon account to access any programmes. Internet access was good. The only point I would make is that in a couple of areas the apartment looked a bit dated & could do with a bit of maintenance but nothing that affected our stay.
For anyone new to Iceland (as we were) the hot water has a sulphur smell which is a bit off putting but completely harmless & normal.
We found the general area to be quiet, although you could hear the people in the apartment above us banging about.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would stay again.
You get 15% discount on food at the restaurants in the other Center hotels.
