“I stayed a total of four nights. The place was very clean and quiet (my room was towards the back), though the motel was full. I did not rent a car, there were two shuttle pick-up spots within walking distance. In the evening, shuttle drivers would drop me off right by the property when I gave them advanced notice. Very conveniently located. Helen (the owner) is very nice and shared interesting story and useful trip information of the area. I enjoyed my stay there. ”

“Enjoyed the location as it was easily walkable to downtown, and near the island explorer bus line that would take us to other parts of the island. Also enjoyed 24/7 front desk and coffee service.”

“My first time in Bar Harbor and I think that th Chiltern is perfectly located! It's located close to the entrance of Acadia but it was also very easy to walk into town for dinner each night. Dan was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended some great things to do/see. We did many of them! The breakfasts Joan made each morning were all delicious and you have the option of eating in the dining room or getting room service for this meal. The Inn is beautiful and was lovely to return to……

“The property is obviously an older facility but it is well maintained and looks fresh and clean. There was not a single thing we didn't like. Easy walk to downtown. We will absolutely stay there again if we return to the area.”
