WAY OVERPRICED AND UNDERWHELMING. last resort stay, it was the only game in town when I booked and now, I know why. The cancelation policy is overly strict. a government shut down and a nor easter storm was not enough for refund. A sailing trip canceled on us because of rough seas and high winds. we went or we would have lost close to 1,400.00\. state park was closed. but you could drive through. I explained all this to management the answer was that's too bad and stores downtown are open, and we could still walk around. Still walkable distance to the restaurants and shopping area. Sparkingly clean, comfortable, beautiful interior decorations, easy to check in. The hosts were some of the friendliest people we’ve ever met—so welcoming and helpful with tips about Bar Harbor and Acadia. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and made us feel right at home. And we absolutely adored Cookie, their sweet dog—he made the stay even more special. The suite is big, clean and cozy. It’s on the side of the building and has its own entrance which provides us more privacy. The living room is big so we got enough space for our luggages. We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully maintained. The hosts were polite, warm, and very well-informed, offering plenty of helpful tips and recommendations—every suggestion we followed turned out to be spot on. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The food was delicious, served right on time, and really added to the overall experience. Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and charm.
