This is one of the bridge footings at White Pines Forest State Park. This is a really interesting park in which you actually have to drive through the creeks in two different spots to tour the area. Great hiking and camping at this state park with plenty of wildlife to view.

“Highly recommend—great old farmhouse! Clean, cozy, and comfortable. My dog loved the 10 acres! Saw deer & hawks. And it was right in town, close to everything including a couple of beautiful state parks. Exactly how it was described in the ad. Note: it’s not terribly modern and chichi but it’s a cool house with lots of nice touches! Hope to stay here again.”

“Apartment was clean, down to earth (literally, lol...semi-basement apartment, but totally comfortable and plenty of air and light), both furnished and kitchen stocked with the basics, neighborhood was quiet, and bed was comfortable. Considering the sketchy reviews of hotels in the area and that the only dependable one was the Holiday Inn (which charges *Chicago* rates), this was an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended!”
