“Just seeing the architecture of Lied Lodge makes it worth the visit. This beautiful building is a combination of stone, brick and timber, and the entrances have lovely large doors that have unique brass handles. When you enter the lobby it’s spectacular with a very high ceiling, lots of glass and timbers, and a view of the wooded valley behind. There’s a spacious open deck with several seating options that is perfect for enjoying the view. Guest rooms line the long hallways on four levels and……

“The carpets in the room and hallway all needed vacuumed. No air conditioning in the reception area or the hallways. Reception area smelled very bad. Our room ac was off when we got there when it was 99 degrees outside took all night for room to cool off. The bedding was clean but there were minimal pillows on each bed. Just felt dirty. Didn’t stay for their breakfast only cereal and bagels. They had no coffee ready at breakfast. At least they had good tv channels but the audio was bad. Overall……

“This hotel was wonderful in every way except that we didn’t know we would be asked to pay an additional fee to park in their parking lot. That was disappointing. Especially because we had 2 vehicles meeting there to go to a wedding.”
