“Honestly, this wasn’t what we were expecting. It’s an old run down property. We knew it would be old, but we at least expected fresh paint, nice smell, clean carpet, etc. We walked in, looked around, and immediately checked out. Huge stains in carpet-very musty smell- there was even an open door leading from the attic into the closet of the bedroom that they had placed a chest of drawers in front of to hold it closed. My wife was able to easily move it. It felt like an old haunted house……

In de kamer, voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt, waan je je even in vroegere tijden van het oude Natchez. Tijdens het ontbijt kletsen met de andere gasten over hun ervaringen. Als we ooit weer in Natchez zijn gaan we weer naar dit huis.”

Average breakfast at Monmouth.which is a lovely stately home. Dont have the french toast basically fried bread with what didnt look like cream cheese in between and dusted with powdered sugar no fruit as you would usually have - wasnt good!”
