Travelers are tired and want to shower and relax after a long plane ride. Put more staff on to ready the rooms much sooner. Not what I expected from an historic upscale luxury hotel that hosted famous people. We also were not told that we could use the pool while awaiting our room. I did ask for another room but first was offered one for an additional $150\. Bad PR. Then after I responded, they offered to help look for another but we were leaving by then. Customer service was average run of the mill check in you'd get from $160 a night hotel chains, not Hotel del Coronado."
