"Lovely boutique room, so close to the centre of the old town, and easy walk from the station (10 minutes and this with luggage on wheels). Breakfast 8-10, well presented, nice breakfast in charming room. Our host, Anna, was terrific- easy check in, had already advised on best way for us to get from Domodossola to Milan/Malpensa airport when departing so we had out bus tickets booked and so easy transfer to the airport (bus from station, direct), and she provided all assistance requested. As we needed to leave early, she provided early breakfast, and then offered to drive us to the station- we didn’t need this but lovely offer. Domodossola a remarkable little town, Saturday markets take over the town, and bars, restaurants buzzing. We had great meals and wines, and the stay at NicoMat made it all so accessible with great host. And the train from Locarno to Domodossola a must!"

"It is very good hotel, exellent for the price. Beautiful view from the balcony, walkable distance to Orta San Julio, 40 min drive to Lago Maggiori. The room was clean and big, the restaurant is very good. I only should mention that in our room the Internet connection was very weak."

"Great place to completely disconnect and relax. The room was clean and with all the necessary amenities to make for a memorable stay. The agriturismo has a relax area with sauna, jacuzzi, hay, firepit, lots of chaise longues to enjoy the sun. Breakfast is diverse and tasty, homemade products with vegan or gluten free options. The ladies of the staff were all very friendly and accomodating, ready to answer any questions and give indications of good restaurants and places to visit. The property is a little farther from the city center, but using the walking paths you can get down in the city within 20min. Or driving within 5-10 min. Really enjoyed our stay here. The only downsize is, if you have a very light sleep, you might get bothered a couple of times during the night by the trains passing behind. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!"
