When we arrived we were able to reach help and they very quickly got us the info and got us in. The space was very clean and modern and the location was great. "The hotel is located very close to the lake and ferry stop is just 1 min walk from the hotel. There is about 20 min walk via boardwalk to the center of Stressa. Hotel offers very good breakfast with an excellent service. Rooms are small and not all face the lake. Staff was professional. Nights were quiet and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were spacious with soap and shampoo provided. The place fit me well since I was mostly interested in visiting the islands. Also they have private parking which is a big plus."

"Location is ideal, only 10 min walk to train station and bit less to lake. All staff were great. It is a Viking tour hotel so you do get a lot of people staying but the hotel facilities can handle it. Breakfast was a wide range the only criticism is that the hot food isn’t hot. Cold scrambled eggs, bacon. The room we had Mountain View was big enough for a week no issues. Lake maggorie is vast and traveling everywhere on the ferry can get expensive. Worth the money is the Maggiore express on the weekends that take you to Locarno in Switzerland and scenic train back. All in all a lovely 7 days."
