“My wife and I have been wanting to stay at the Hotel de la Marine for almost 20 years, since we ate at the restaurant there. Our stay of a single night was quite special. The excellent and friendly staff arranged a sea-view room for us and we were delighted with our views over la manche. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and the food lived up to our previous expectations. Whole crab, followed by Dover sole and lobster linguine.....and an excellent bottle of Quincy vin blanc. “A lovely property featuring a main house built in 1790. Very convenient to the Bayeux train station and the commercial center. The staff was very accommodating and helpful during check in. We stayed in the Bayeux room in the top floor. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and modern bath area. Highly recommended and we would certainly stay here again. ”
