“Location, setting & surroundings are excellent, peaceful, nested courtyard compound. The adjacent church bell, on the hour is ok, presenting some ambience in a very quiet location. Breakfast was a bit limited continental, boiled eggs, toast, breads & fruit. Shower head (Pop room), was on the handheld (rain head not working?). “Adequate overnight stop off the afternoon sailing from Portsmouth. You can see the hotel as soon as you exit the dock. Late check in available if the ferry is late. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Quite a basic room, no tea or coffee in the room or bottles of water. Room was small with 2 twin beds. Beds very comfortable and shower good.
