“We had a lovely stay at the Crooked Oak Lodge. The house is a great size for a large family, well stocked kitchen, has golf in the community, lake access, solid WiFi, and is close to several activities. The pool guys came every day and were very responsive when we had a pool issue. We did have two house issues. The pool is set at 84 degrees. Some may not care but we thought it was cold. We have stayed at several properties where the pool could be heated more (for additional cost) and it makes……

“Perfect house on the lake, small and cozy. I brought our fishing boat 16.5’ to get out on the lake for a few days, just enough water to get to dock. Fall season the water is down but it all worked. We would stay again. Check in check out was very easy with text messages from Red Barn.”

“Check in was a little confusing. We did not know if the owner would be present when we arrived. Once I arrived, some of the others were already there, and were checked in by the owner. The property was as described, very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and the surrounding area was very pleasant and well maintained. “The Historic Farm property was beautiful! Our family enjoyed fishing at the pond and biking in and around the property. We hiked and swam in the nearby State Parks. The bedrooms were spacious and the king sized beds comfortable. It was great to have meals with the whole family around the large dining room table. The ice machine in the cozy kitchen was an added bonus.”
