Best Western Red River Lodge Fargo ND

"The hot and cold breakfast bar was outstanding! lots of seating and a cleanly kept eating area. The pool was freshly painted and stained our hands and feet but it was easily removed. The room was a little off (slightly damp carpet, very loose water tap, not great shower head, toilet paper could not be reached by a child) but the beds were very comfortable and there was LOTS of well thought shelving throughout the room. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive."

"Great location with a lot of food and drink options within a short walk, and friendly people working at the desk. I also enjoyed the rooftop bar, although it never opened our second night due to lack of staff. Only issue is that the windows do little to prevent the noise outside on the street. It gets loud at night with the Irish bar underneath and the lack of sound proofing makes it seem like there’s a window open. I was woken a couple times by people, including 2 dudes having an argument at 3 am."

"The hotel was perfectly located for what I needed and I got a good night of sleep each of the nights that I stayed, which is ultimately the most important thing. I was looking forward to using the hot tub after my long journey to get there, but it was not operable. The continental breakfast was disgusting. The eggs looked like watered down cottage cheese with little yellow speckles. The batter to make your own waffle had unidentified “floaty things” in it. The coffee machine was malfunctioning and made it next to impossible to get a cup of coffee. I wasn’t brave enough to try any of the food that wasn’t prepackaged. The room and the cleanliness were fine, I did sleep well and it was very conveniently located. I would stay there again, but have no expectations for additional amenities beyond the room being ok."
