“Very outdated and the bed was not good to say the least, but the staff girls were stellar.”

“Room was clean. The bedding was nice. The hallways smelled sooooo bad. The room had a small smell to it but nothing too bad. The outside property was dirty.”

“We loved the way they preserved some of the old aesthetics with the new. Such a beautiful hotel. The restaurant was wonderful. We had filets, potato puree as well as the bacon mac and cheese. We especially enjoyed talking with the gal working the front desk. She was so friendly and knew alot about the area. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. She was working the evening of 7/8 and 7/9. We loved the breakfast presentation across the bar area. Such a cozy atmosphere.”

“Bob, who makes breakfast a special event. We had the best breakfast ever because of his hospitality and attention to details. Thanks for the homemade waffles, Bob!”

“They do not have anyone bring towels or clean rooms except every three days. Pool is so warm and strong with chemicals its not enjoyable. Breakfast was great, different each day and options. Required rooms close with family staying months before coming and had us on separate floors. I will be looking at other options for our next trip.”

“A very quiet town (except for multiple trains nearby) next to the Cheat River. Clean, spacious room across the street from good full bar.”

“Spotless, cozy cabin with everything you needed. Fire pit, Grill, covered hot tub, store, laundry, picnic table all within steps of the cabin. Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough……
