“We had a wonderful room, fabulous breakfast and a very comfortable stay”

“Perfect for us. 2 dogs and close to town!! Very clean”

“5th adobe home we have stayed at in Taos. Best to date, wish we had allotted more time as we were sad to leave that amazing adobe. Wonderful!”

“We very much enjoyed our stay. The 360deg view (and sunsets) provided by this property are outstanding.”

“While we visit the area quite often, this was our first stay at the Historic Inn. Our room was just the perfect size for the two of us and we even enjoyed the outdoor seating in front of our room. Parking here is amazing. Unfortunately we had family obligations that prevented us from using the bar and lounge area, we were sad about that, but next time :) We will definitely be back.”

“Beautiful hotel situated on lovely grounds with trees and paths. King bed was comfortable with nice linens. Balcony was pleasant. Room was heavy on animal skins and hallways are lined with antlers, so if you're not into that, beware. Large bathtub looks great (and it was), but a bit treacherous to step out of. We enjoyed drinks and appetizers in the bar, which is very nice. Friendly, helpful staff. Can't speak to the spa amenities, but they look inviting.”

My husband found the low, small sink tough to navigate in our room, but this was a minor inconvenience and we will be sure to get a different room next time as we plan on coming back. Charming accommodations, quiet and beautiful. Highly recommend.”

“extremely memorable stay. loved everything except the food wasn't awesome in my opinion.”

Hotel management wants to keep the trailers as close to their original furnishings and mechanical systems as possible, but that's a challenge, so there are some things that don't work perfectly. If you require perfection, this isn't the hotel for you. But, if you enjoy a bit of nostalgia and whimsy and can work with the very……

“Peggy the inn keeper was very personable and helpful, spending time with us to explain the history of the property and engaging us in conversations that made our stay extra special. The awesome Pueblo building was well-maintained while retaining its old charm; plus, the inn was a walking distance from the old town and easy drive to many sights of interest, It was a perfect base from which to enjoy the historic and cultural town of Taos.”
