“After a very rough day, this was a wonderful place to lay your head down for the night. The room was wonderful, recently remodeled and very clean. The beds were firm and really comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was great and all the staff were extremely pleasant. I will definetly stay here again and recommend to family and friends headed through Rapid City”

“Excellent hotel. Excellent amenities and the staff was great. My only problem was the handicap accessible room was the farthest from the elevator. It was a really long walk for my wife who uses a Walker. Other than that it was terrific.”

“The bathroom had hair on the floor mirror was disgusting the beds were very comfortable! We had a clogged toilet told front desk came back later that day it had not been fixed ! They gave us another room and the ac made a terrible noise got up the next morning to a broken elevator four flight of stairs to carry luggage down ! Front desk had nothing but excuses for all issues Hopefully they can get a better maintenance plan in place !”

“I had several issues with this property. I do not normally post negative comments but I feel that it is necessary in this case. First, and most importantly, I requested a soft pillow. The existing pillows were rock hard, very heavy, and unusable. I was told that they just ordered these new pillows but did not order anything other than hard ones. Not only is this unacceptable for a highly rated hotel, but they were not kind. One person at the front desk merely pouted when I told him that I had……

“The hotel itself is good. The staff was less than helpful. The pool was closed for maintenance. There was no advance notice and we were not told about it when we checked in. Went out for a day of sightseeing and rushed back to spend some time in the pool. Our first notice was the sign on the pool. There was no other notification. We had very upset kids. The only reason we booked the hotel was for the pool. The same guy checked us out and said we should have been told. He was the one that didn’t……

“The cabin location was so beautiful with a great view from the deck and hot tub. But the deck was full of pollen which had been walked over and then transferred into hot tub. I requested a broom so I could at least get the worst of it up. The sofa sleeper bedding was very stained and in all honesty, I could not bear to even crawl into that bed after I requested the bedding be changed, I slept on the sofa with my own blanket from home (not the best night of sleep). I know sofa beds are not……

“Breakfast needs a little more color it looks like everything was just trow in the microwave. Also didnt like the lady that was just behind people all the time”

“Loved our room with 3 queen beds, perfect for our family with 2 adult kids. Room also had a mini-fridge and microwave. Used the pool and gym. Staff was consistently nice and helpful, even more than at most hotels. Great location very close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park/ Needles Highway. Only a couple of hours from Badlands, so easy to drive there and back in a day.”

“We had a wonderful stay. The waterpark had warm water and was comfortable. I could see the majority of the park from the hot tub which was really nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a lot of options but not many “healthy” options. I would have really liked some fruit choices. The beds were comfortable and clean.”
